celebrating diversity
through humor
What’s with the thyme?
Thyme, the garden herb beloved by many, has a rich history dating back to ancient Egypt, where it played a role in embalming practices. From flavoring dishes to serving as incense or medicine, thyme has been cherished for its versatility across cultures and continents, with around 300 varieties enhancing kitchens worldwide. It's a symbol of our past, our present, and our future. The vibrant purple bulbs and soothing aroma intrinsically connects us to our ancestors. It's no surprise that thyme is the herb associated with courage and protection, embodying resilience throughout the ages.
As a representation for all who came before us, we’re using this moment to take up thyme and space in authentically representing heritage through humor. And we plan on doing it again, and again, and again.
