celebrating diversity
through humor
OUR
STORY
Thyme & Again Comedy was founded by two hilarious women – Anamaria, hailing from Colombia, and Tiffanee who is a First-Generation Jamaican. Our brand is dedicated to curating spaces where comedians and audiences alike can unapologetically celebrate diversity through humor.
What’s With The "Thyme"?
Thyme, the garden herb beloved by many, has a rich, global history dating back to ancient Egypt, where it was used in embalming practices. Across cultures and continents, thyme has served many purposes: flavoring dishes, burning as incense, and supporting traditional medicine. With nearly 300 varieties found around the world, it is a true reflection of cultural diversity, showing up in kitchens and rituals from region to region.
More than just an herb, thyme is a symbol that connects our past, present, and future. Its vibrant purple blooms and soothing aroma evoke a sense of lineage and belonging, linking us to generations before us. Historically associated with courage and protection, thyme represents resilience across time and culture.
That symbolism is at the heart of Thyme & Again Comedy. As a tribute to those who came before us, we use this moment to take up thyme (and time) and space by authentically representing heritage through humor. And we plan to do it again, and again, and again.
